Everyone needs a message of hope

The Finding the Hope Personal Outreach is a simple and respectful way to increase the messaging of the gospel of Christ across Canada. When you give someone a clear message about Jesus, you give a gift that can transform a life forever. Jesus likens sharing the gospel to the sowing of seeds. Every seed you sow and water with prayer holds enormous potential.

How do people use the Finding the Hope resources?

Gino and Tracey travelled from Eastern to Western Canada on their motorcycle and brought along Finding the Hope booklets. They wrote: “We use the booklets to spread the gospel message as we travel. This is why we are placing a big order so that no matter where we are, we can give people the message that leads them to Christ.”

Judy says the Lord put it in her heart to deliver the Finding the Hope gospel booklet to mailboxes in her area of rural New Brunswick. She has now added the mailing of the Finding the Hope packet to selected neighbourhoods. A business card from her church is included in each one.

Craig and Yvonne wanted to share the message of hope in Christ with every home in their community. They ordered 1,500 Finding the Hope Christmas card set which they brought to their post office. They affixed a label in each card that reads, “Reach out if you need help. You are loved! Your neighbours Craig and Yvonne."

Camille regularly passes along the Finding the Hope booklet to people she meets. She says she wants to give the gospel message to her neighbours and people in her community so that they can hear about the love of Christ for them. She is encouraging her small group to do the same.

Jim is part of a group that reclaims food and goods from grocery stores and redistributes these items to homeless and disadvantaged people in Southern Ontario. They include the Finding the Hope booklet in the parcels they distribute and give the message of hope along with basic necessities.

Kim feels an urgency to help people know who Jesus is and gives out the Finding the Hope booklet as he goes about life. He says: “I like how the Finding the Hope booklet speaks of what life is like and how it shows people that Jesus meets our deep needs. The message and the images really touch the heart.”

Eva is a senior lady in Alberta. In the summer she hands out Finding the Hope booklets to children in her VBS. At Christmas time she includes a booklet in the buyers’ bags at her church’s Holiday bake sale.

Gary and his wife Beth include a Finding the Hope booklet in homemade Christmas cards which they distribute at a nursing home where they visit and minister to people.

Glenda works with people in need. A Finding the Hope packet was delivered at her home during a community outreach. She says, “the photos, the text, the layout…it speaks in a way that people understand today.” She has ordered a large quantity of the booklets to share with her clients all year long.
