Global Outreach Day is June 14th

Harvest Partner, News, — June 10, 2014

On the third annual Global Outreach Day, coming up on June 14th, believers across Canada are encouraged to join millions of Christians around the world in presenting Christ to someone in some way.

Everyone can share with someone!

The vision of Global Outreach Day is to see Christians in 200 nations share the Gospel in even the simplest of ways.Global Outreach Day

Momentum is building. Last year, more than 15 million Christians worldwide participated in Global Outreach Day. Millions of responses have been reported globally. Here in Canada, a woman shared this comment with us: “I have lived in the same townhouse for almost 12 years and know most of my immediate neighbours. For Global Outreach Day, I went door to door and met neighbours that I had never really spoken to. In the past, I have done some mission work and it always gives me great joy to meet someone who needs a little prayer for new hope.”

To help equip churches and individual Canadians, EHC has produced a Personal Evangelism Kit with richly illustrated resources and evangelism booklets available in English, French, bilingual French/English and bilingual Chinese/English. We would appreciate hearing from you how you are planning to participate during this year’s Global Outreach Day!

Early on, he told me that he knew a lot of Bible principles. He knew biblical ideas, but no one had ever taught him how to really follow Jesus. It gave him real problems in his life." Read more...

“We want that”

Their heartache had festered into bitterness. “We don’t need any god! We’ve given up on God,” they shouted when EHC workers in Sri Lanka visited their dilapidated home. “God never helped us!” they cried, clearly angered by the mention of Him. The pioneer missionaries listened patiently, waiting for the elderly couple’s anger to subside.  For… Read More…
